Dear Paeng,
Finished reading your great book, Pacific Rims. Have some questions for you. Hope you can answer them.
1.) In your time observing the Alaska Aces, can you really say 100% that there was absolutely NO game-fixing involved with the Aces? Long time observers of the PBA would often say " panahon pa ni Jaworski ang game fixing".
This may be one reason for the PBA's waning popularity of late.
Credibility that games are not fixed remains an important factor for people wanting to watch the PBA, I think. This applies, of course to most, if not all sports.
And as a follow up to that, did you observe any hint, even a trace, of game fixing which involved other teams?
2.) Can an All-Filipino team (can include Fil-foreigners, but NOT naturalized Americans) ever win the Asian Games Gold Medal, in your opinion.
We tried to take a Championship team, a ragtag all star team, a developmental youth team. As of writing, we still cannot beat China, South Korea and Japan.
3.) How much did you get your Icy Manipulator for?
Cheers and great work on the book!
